In December 2011, The Branch Foundation participated in the GlobalGiving Foundation’s Open Challenge. We successfully raised 5000 USD from 50 different donors for our project “Solar Lighting for 600 Burmese Refugees”! In early 2012, a GlobalGiving In-The-Field Representative came to see our project on the Thai-Burma border. After this visit, we were generously asked to be a Strategic Partner of GlobalGiving and delightedly accepted this opportunity to further our relationship with this renowned organization.
